REGISTRATION PROCEDURE OF HARBOUR / PLEASURE CRAFTS IMPORTED FROM ABROAD.

1. Application for Registration.
2. Declaration of ownership on stamped paper with recent photograph of owner duly notarized.
3. CNIC of owner alongwith original.
4. If register in the name if company then required company's memorandum articles of association, certificate of incorporation & recent From-29 signed and stamped by company Registrar.

1. Builder certificate (original) alongwith set of approved drawings.
2. Invoice (original).
3. Copy of Custom Bill of Entry duly cleared alongwith original.

1. Photocopies of previous documents.
2. Original Bill of Sale duly executed.
3. Original deletion certificate from last Flat State.

1. Arrange inspection / measurement survey.
2. Deposit prescribed registration and inspection fee.
3. Arrange Carving inspection.
4. The owner must be present with his valid original CNIC and shall show it to surveyor of Mercantile Marine Department, Karachi.

1. Transfer of Ownership Form for transferring the CRAFT (photographs of seller and buyer to be affixed in the form) both parties to sign.
2. Application from seller for measurement inspection.
3. Photo copies of C.N.I.C.(Computerized National Identity Card) of seller and buyer.
4. Photocopy of sale agreement on stamp paper.
5. M.M.D. valid Survey Certificate.
6. Original Registration Certificate.

1. Payment of transferring fee.
2. Arrange measurement inspection.
3. After completion of above requirements seller and buyer should appear with original C.N.I.C.(Computerized National Identity Card) before the Registrar to confirm the sale proceed and Registration Certificate will be issued within one week.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE OF NEW FISHING BOATS/ MOTOR LAUNCH (LOCAL-CONSTRUCTED) UNDER COASTING VESSELS ACT, XIX OF 1838.

1. Application for Registration.
2. Declaration of owner ship on stamp paper affixing.
3. Photographs and should be solemnly affirmed before Oath Commissioner.
4. Declaration from Builder.
5. Owner must be present alongwith Original CNIC..
6. Photocopy of CNIC’s of Owner / builder.
7. Engine Purchase Receipt (printed) if imported then copy of Custom Bill or entry duly cleared along with Original.
8. NOC form Fish Harbour Authority Karachi for boats built at Karachi Fish Harbour.

1. Verification of address.
2. Measurement / Engine survey and deposit of fee.
3. Payment of Registration fees then New Number will be issued.
4. Number Report given by the Tape Holder then new Registration Certificate will be issued but those fishing boats who’s overall Length 12 meters or above registration certificate will be issued. After LSA/FFA survey & certificate will be issued within one week.

2. Photo copies of C.N.I.C of seller and purchaser.
3. Original Registration Certificate.

3. LSA/FFA survey to be arranged for boats 12 meters and above..

MOTOR FISHING BOAT / HARBOUR CRAFT GRP BOAT BUILDER YARD "APPROVAL WORKSHOP OF MERCANTILE MARINE DEPARTMENT":

1. 1st time Boat Builder approval of drawing and submitted 1% fee for approval of drawing fee.
2. Drawing forwarded to Chief Engineer & Ship Surveyor for approval
3. Builder certificate submitted of Boat Builder
4. Estimate total cost of Boat / Engine.
5. Application for Registration.
6. Declaration of owner ship on stamp paper affixing.
7. Photographs and should be solemnly affirmed before Oath Commissioner.
8. Owner must be present alongwith Original CNIC.
9. Photocopy of CNIC’s of Owner / builder.
10. Engine Purchase Receipt (printed) if imported then copy of Custom Bill or entry duly cleared along with Original.
